After we were noted as having one of the NFL's weakest schedules, I don't think our remaining schedule is a walk in the park. In fact, we have some difficult games remaining.

Broncos in Denver

Bengals at home

Ravens twice

Packers

Dolphins in Miami

(Then we have games we should win against KC, Raiders, and Browns)

6 of our final 9 games are going to be difficult games. The other 3....any given Sunday.

I feel better doing it this way, but we are definitely going to have to earn our way into the playoffs.

And you have to look at Cincy's schedule too. After us, they have the Raiders, Browns and Lions in back-to-back-to-back weeks. They also have games against the Vikes, Chiefs and Chargers.

Cincy will get a serious beat down from us on Nov 15th.  Motivation level will be very high to dish out that bullcrap game when we were up 20-9 in the 4th...

Right you are but we were worried big time last season and our boys came through. No doubt in my mind we make the playoffs this season but making the SB is gonna be tougher.

Every team out there is gunning to beat the Steelers.
At least our guys now have some better exp. dealing with big game jitters.

steelers history of letting teams hang around dictates that each week will be a challenge on some level.  this group will step up.  i think we will see the broncos and bengals somewhat slide back into mediocracy.  ravens are always tough and i think will play great ball throughout the rest of the season.  gonna be exciting the rest of the way.

I can honestly say I never thought that we were going to just run over and thru teams this year.  Everyone guns for the Pittsburgh Steelers, regardless of whether we are the World Champions or not.  We are a measuring stick for teams to compare themselves too in the 'toughness' category; people come to play against us.  Our division rivals, Cleveland aside, are very physical and have alot of weapons on both sides of the ball.  Denver certainly has been an unwelcomed surprise.

I'll stand by my 11-5 predicition and hope we do better...

I don't count on that strength of schedule crap.  We need to play Steeler football and let's see what happens............

As Tomlin would say...we'll take one game at a time playing hard 4qtrs in all aspects of the game and let everything else take care of itself.

Im pretty sure the dolphins will be looking at our last tapes against the browns to see how they had successful plays with the wildcat against the steelers defense. Being that its the last game in the regular season it may be a meaningless win but i sure hope that Tomlin & lebou has the guys ready for that one
